Campus Parking

Welcome to Queens University of Charlotte! All vehicles parked on the main campus of Queens must be registered and have a valid parking permit.

Student Parking on Campus

First-year residential students are not permitted to have a car on campus. Parking is reserved for commuting, adult, and upperclassmen students. Upperclassmen residential students must park in the Byrum parking deck next to the Levine Center for Health & Wellness. Parking in the deck requires a residential parking permit and an access card.

All commuters with a parking permit can park in any open lot or space on the main campus, except for those marked as reserved for guests or events.

2023-2024 Parking Fees

Residential Parking

  • Annual Resident permit – $450
  • Per semester: Fall 23 Resident permit – $225, Spring 24 Resident permit – $225

Commuter Parking

  • Annual Commuter permit – $200
  • Per semester: Fall 23 Commuter permit – $100, Spring 24 Commuter permit – $100

There is no longer an Evening Commuter Permit.

Queens Parking Portal

The Queens Parking Portal is your one-stop place for all your parking needs! Log in to purchase permits, pay or appeal tickets, and manage your parking account.

To register you will need the following information:

  • License plate number and state of registration
  • Vehicle details: year, make, model, and color

Student, Staff & Faculty

If you are a current Queens student or employee, please register using this option to log into our parking portal using your Queens username and password.

Once you have completed the online registration process, please bring your Queens ID and a picture of your license plate to Campus Police to receive your decal.

Parking Permits are valid through August.

Guest Parking

Student Guests

If you need a parking permit for a guest, both you and your guest must visit the Campus Police office in Watkins Hall bringing the following with you:

  • Student – please bring your Queens ID.
  • Guest – please know your license plate number and vehicle details (year, make, model, and color).

Your guest will be given a hangtag to be displayed on their rearview mirror. This permit only allows for parking in the soccer lot during the day or overnight.

Employee Guests

Employees should email Pat Renguso (reservedparking@queens.edu) at least 48 hours before a guest’s visit to inquire about parking availability on campus.
